KORN FERRY TALENT Q DIMENSIONS
Protostar are authorised partners Korn Ferry Talent Q and can deliver the "Dimensions" personality profile and the "Drive" motivation
psychometric tool.
Dimensions is a comprehensive personality report consisting of 150 statements that must be rated in terms of how close they are to your behavioural preferences. The final report contains a detailed set of charts and an explanation.
It is designed to support all stages of the employee life cycle including recruitment, leadership development, talent identification and coaching others.
HOGAN INSIGHT PROFILES
The Hogan Insight Series provides organisations with scientifically validated information about an individual’s strengths, performance risks, and core values.
Used as a feedback tool for selection or development, the easy-to-understand Hogan report gives managers the self-awareness and development suggestions needed to perform effectively.
The Hogan Personality Inventory consists of three profiles, HPI which looks at positive traits or the bright side of personality. MVPI looks at whether the value deemed important by an individual, link to the organisation. HDS looks at the "dark side" of a manager’s personality or the behaviours that only surface when they are stressed, bored or frustrated.

One of the best-known personality tools in the UK, SHL profiles such as the OPQ have been used in many organisations and have a long-standing reputation. BELBIN
In addition to our comprehensive range of award winning online 360 tools, we can provide a Belbin Team Assessment. Great for helping management teams to work more effectively.
A long-established tool, based on the work by Meredith Belbin, each management team member identifies which of 9 team roles they prefer to adopt. This helps the team to understand the behaviours of their colleagues and allows the senior manager to see what might be lacking in a team. Often used by Protostar as part of our team building workshops.

WHAT IS PSYCHOMETRIC TESTING?
Psychometrics is a generic term that covers both personality profile assessment using tools such as OPQ, MBTI or Hogan, and aptitude assessment using online tests such as SHL's Verify range that covers numeric, verbal and critical reasoning.
Personality profiles involve answering a series of questions by rating yourself against specific statements, thereby building up a profile of what is "most like you".
Personality profiles are extensively used as part of executive recruitment and executive coaching. There is no right or wrong personality but the reports might highlight areas for further discussion, for instance an HR manager who comes out low on the scale for "Caring" might be challenged on their ability to deal sympathetically with people issues.
